This boss is the hardest encounter in the new God Of War and utilizes the attacks of all the Valkyries you've fought so far. Ascension is by far the easiest I guess. And gow 3 is easier than its predecessors. I've also had hard time beating the games before the third. You will get used to it though. Ascension was tough for me. Enemies in Ascension are much better at interrupting your combos, forcing you to use shorter less powerful moves.
Easily still harder than 60% of the elden ring bosses granted you are not using resurrection stones or accessibility options. i’ve platinumed god of war ragnarok so yes i’ve fought the end game optional bosses. they are tough for sure, and id agree it’s harder than about 60-70% of souls/bloodborne/sekiro bosses.

Psn-Tairaa1991. chanmaster 13 years ago #8. Here what I did. In Phase 1. Attack all the legs till they are red, in this phase the boss is easy and predictable. Your combos on the legs should S,S,S or S,S,T with the last attack being directed more towards the little scorpions if their getting on our nerves.

Helwyr is hardest because random mushroom spawns suck. Also shield switching a lot. Unlike the other GWD bosses, Vindicta is more difficult to predict at first. Gregorovic is pretty easy, but I highly recommend you have the Venom-blood perk on some armour. His magic attack can also be a bit glitchy and hit you even if you move.
